Grandbabies
Are like flowers
Suddenly blooming
When the garden was looking dusty
They breathe a new light
On the perspective of living
Bursting with energy and awe
Making the simple divine
Grandbabies
Are the legacy
Of the compilation
Of one’s true life
Presented anew
From the meager DNA
Entrails of what had never been completed
Now so clear
In the shiny faces
Adoringly looking at you
As they so lithely jump
On the trampoline in the blue sky and radiant sunlight
Carol my daughter (inlaw) sent me your blog on grandbabies. Your words are beautiful, and so true. My little grandson has brought unbelievable light and love into my life. I will spend the rest of my life letting him know how special he is and how much I love him.
